Covid-19 Safety and Code of Conduct
Zoe Ministries Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe event environment for all participants, including attendees, sponsors, vendors, staff, exhibitors, and anyone else that will be present at the event. While Zoe Ministries will not require safety measures beyond those required by local health officials, we will fully abide by local health requirements—and the requirements of the venue.
We are hosting live events in multiple locations, each of which has different protocols and sometimes changing states of alert. Given that the responsibility of a safe in-person event is equally shared among event organizers, event vendors, event sponsors, and event attendees, Zoe Ministries has developed the following code of conduct by which all participants need to abide by. This document outlines a collection of recommendations that should serve as a reminder that if we all collectively respect the significance of this contribution, we are advocating for the well-being of our fellow global citizens.
If your questions are not answered here, please use the LiveChat featured in the lower right-hand corner of our website.
Recommendations
Before Leaving Home
- Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), or your local health authority.
- Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from.
- Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with; contact the meeting/event organizers if you have concerns.
- Stay home if you feel sick! (Contact your Concierge or our Partner Care Line to notify us of your status.)
On-site During the Event
- Abide by the rules of the local health authority and the venue. This will differ by locality.
- Assume all risks of attending an in-person event, including the potential risk of becoming infected with COVID-19.
- Follow guidance from the local health authority, for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including:
- Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues in the trash.
- It is recommended that you wear a mask or facial covering in enclosed spaces with a large number of people – however – we leave this to your own choice.
- Adhere to social distance protocols and respect others’ personal space.
Post-event
Based on current contact tracing advice from many health authorities, if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home, please contact our Partner Care Line at 888-831-0434 immediately to advise us.

Final Preparation Items
Please review the items below.
These address your safety, discounts, and comfort.
For those entering the United States, now may be a good time to locate your passport for your journey. We’ve heard countless stories of people forgetting their passports at home or storing their passports for safekeeping, only to realize it’s locked away in some remote location. Take the time now to locate your passport and ensure you bring it with you to the airport.
Airport Arrivals
We recommend flying into LaGuardia Airport (LGA), which is 1.0 miles from the hotel, or John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), which is 9.7 miles from the hotel. Ground transportation—Uber, Lyft, taxi, shuttle service, or car rental—is the recommended modes of travel to and from the airport and around the area, at your own expense. Upon your arrival at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) contact your hotel for shuttle service.
Late Arrival or Early Departure
The conference is designed to be a sequential experience. As such, any late arrival or early departure not only puts your conference results at risk (you’ll likely miss something) but is disruptive for the founders and attendees. Please book your flights to arrive and depart so as not to miss the start or end of the conference.

Currency and Practices
The currency is $US dollars.
You can pay with cash, but almost all restaurants, clubs, bars, and shopping stores will accept VISA and MasterCard, fewer will accept American Express. The United States is a country where tipping is standard for transport (taxi/uber/shuttle), hotel staff (bellhop/valet) and all bars/restaurants. The standard is 15-20% of the entire bill and $2-5 for bellhop/valet. For large parties (6 or more at a table), the tip is often included, so review your bill or ask your server. You can easily use an ATM to dispense US dollars.
Safety
Most tourist areas are safe for families. It is, of course, recommended that visitors apply common sense and remain aware of their belongings in crowded tourist sites such as the https://gocity.com/new-york/en-us
Included Meals and Breaks
