So let’s get rid of the denial, or yet worse the false humility which tries to make you believe that it’s all right to lead an average life, missing out on all of the joys and pleasures that really belong to you. You know instinctively that you can grow far beyond your present circumstances. And you also realize that you will need help in getting to that point of growth. For that reason I commend your humility and can safely predict that you will more than likely be one of the great success stories that many people will talk about for years to come. However, the point between here and there is the challenge that causes most people to give up on the journey long before they’ve started. Most people get discouraged when they discover the process to attaining their goals.
For many it seems far too long, too tedious a task, and just too much hard work in exchange for the treasure on the other side. And since most people have not yet arrived at the treasure of life, they cop out prematurely, thinking, “I’ve not missed out on what I’ve never had.” That is their weak justification for not pursuing their promise, for simply quitting. It’s the in between part that really counts the most in life. The space between knowing where you need to be and actually getting there is the area where I am best equipped in helping you to travel to.
