The mark of a true believer is reflected in one’s desire to serve others. As a prophet, you must be committed to something bigger than yourself. You must be committed to something that matters, something that can advance God’s Kingdom.

When you’re committed to something bigger than yourself, you are able to access the true power of being called by God. A truly powerful person does not need to force or coerce others into doing something. Instead, he simply inspires, touches, and moves his followers toward the future that he is leading them into. As for you, how are you influencing this world? How are you representing Jesus Christ in the marketplace?

When you’re committed to something bigger than your personal interest, desires, benefits, and dreams, you will find that giving up or being demotivated is not so easy. Your commitment to becoming a contribution will also be your source of charisma in the marketplace. More than your charm or people skills, the fact that you are authentically expressing yourself as a contribution to the world will encourage people to believe you. It is because you truly represent the message of the cross that people will have an encounter with Jesus in their lives.
