Before the Holy Spirit inspired bible authors to write the Bible, God already has a complete plan. It was according to this foreordained plan that He is working. According to the Prophet Isaiah:remember the former things of old;for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like me,declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, “My purpose shall stand, and I will fulfill my intention,” calling a bird of prey from the east, the man for my purpose from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have planned, and I will do it. Listen to me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from deliverance: I bring near my deliverance, it is not far off, and my salvation will not tarry; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory. (Isaiah 46:9-13)

In the passage above, God revealed to His prophet how He is self-existent, eternal, sovereign, and uncreated. God said He is, “declaring the end from the beginning” (Isa 46:10). How great is God’s wisdom? Whatever a person is going through right now, God knew from the start that it was going to happen and in His great love, He has already provided what you need for that specific moment.

When and where exactly did God declare the end from the beginning? He did it clearly with each page of the Bible. Prophets were used by God, guided by the Holy Spirit, about great world events centuries before they came to pass. In the heart of humans, they have a longing to know about what is to come. If this were true, how come not every person has the burden to examine the prophetic Scriptures with an unbiased mind?

Magicians, sorcerers, astrologers, diviners, enchanters, and necromancers throughout time, although they have spiritual gifts, because they have not used it for God’s glory, have failed to predict accurately things of the future. Even today, there are people who pay money to listen to tarot card reading or fortune telling by different methods because of a deep desire to know the future. I believe that this desire is present in man because in his heart, he knows he has a future. What is even more amazing is that God has a great plan for this future!

In the prophetic ministry, your role is to help people discover this for their lives. You have the privilege of sharing to individuals and churches what God has in store for their lives, even if it is only in partial revelation. God is using you to direct these people into His purposes.
