More people can be encouraged and drawn to Jesus through our gift.

If we are faithful with our little gifts, God will bless us with more. As we exhibit an attitude of excellence in developing and growing our talent and character, then God can entrust more prophetic insights and revelation to us — as well as more ministry to His people. As a result, we can have more opportunities to encourage others through our gift, and the church would be built up. We can edify the church more through the increasing gift of prophecy (1 Cor. 14:4b). How can you be faithful with the ones God has given you?

Commitment sets you apart.

Commitment sets you apart. God has appointed you for a purpose and equipped you with what you need. To be committed means to be fixated on purpose and faithful to a particular cause without wavering. No one succeeds at anything by starting a venture and stopping halfway. A total commitment and resolve are needed to achieve success. Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before finally finding the one thing that worked, the man who invented the light bulb. He had a vision of what he wanted to achieve. Edison utterly believed in its possibility. He gave the needed commitment to see that his idea came to pass. If he had stopped after the first or 100th attempt, he would not have succeeded in the venture. He succeeded because he stayed true to the entire process.

Jesus had this same kind of commitment towards His assignment on earth. In the face of persecution, praise, and adoration from men, he did not waver in his commitment to fulfilling the will of the Father daily. When Jesus faced the cross, and despite the pain he was to experience, he chose not to decline the cup he was offered. It was a painful experience, but he did not waver in his commitment to God and His purpose on earth. His unwavering commitment to God made him hang on the cross for the salvation of humankind. Commitment brings massive results that benefit all.
