Leadership!
A leader does not necessarily have to be good at everything – what a leader has to be is good at managing things. In managing things, having a positive outlook can help bring his group to the desired goal it needs to meet. A leader should know how not only to gather but to unite people to a common good. In a group setting, anything impossible will always seem possible. That is why companies and corporations are made and they are never without parts. When people get together towards a common goal, they put each other up and make things easier; thus, making more effective measures.
Also, when people are together, they can share their own ideas to each other and come up with a better idea. It improves our own thinking as well when we see things from another’s perspective. It broadens our minds and opens our mindsets.
A vision lives as a deep and profound personal commitment to a possible future (Selman, 2007, p.85). As everyone has a vision of what lies in the future, we must have commitment to reach it. In order to do that, the one who has a vision should be able to share it to others. In Fernando J. Latorre’s testimony, establishing a shared vision was easier and more effective, where the impossible became possible and where a certain “reserve” of available potential was transformed into reality and concrete action (Selman, 2007, p. ix).
