Power of the Word

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Never advertise your weakness. The only one that gives power to your weakness is you. Never advertise your weakness, because death and life are in the power of the tongue. Do not even discuss your weakness, because God only sees and hears the voice of your faith. Many people have a habit of discussing their weakness confining them to a lifestyle of victimization. Stop speaking like a victim and start talking like a victor. Victors only speak in terms of their expected outcomes.

Victims always deal with why they don’t have what they believe they should have. They always speak in terms of weakness and want. In life what you speak is really what you get. If you continue to speak in terms of want then you’ll have more want. If you speak in terms of total provision and supply, then that is what you’ll receive. You create the world that you live in with your words. You have power in your tongue to produce life in your life and the life of others or to silently kill yourself and anyone within your reach. Great businesspeople never dwell on deficits and negative cash flow, but always speak forth solutions that will create atmospheres more conducive for increase.

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn about their whole body.
