Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,

even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 2).

God wants prosperity to be in your life. God wants success to be in your life. You

deserve to be wealthy. You deserve to be able to pay your bills easily. You deserve to have all things you need and want. You deserve money.  

And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was

in the house of his master the Egyptian (Genesis 39:2). 

All of these will be considered “prosperity gospel” by some people, but when you look at it, it is founded on God’s truth. It is the goodness of God and the greatness of His love that we can believe for these things. It is because God loves us so much that He did not even withhold Jesus, what more the payment for your next bill, what more the car you’ve been praying for, or the house you’ve been dreaming about. What more is God desires for you to be blessed because it will give Him glory. The house, the car, and everything else, you couldn’t have gotten those things without divine intervention. It gives glory back to the Lord. 

The Lord was with Joseph and by nature it made him prosperous. If you are with the Lord, really with Him, and not just going through the motions of day-to-day life with Jesus as an afterthought, you cannot help but experience God’s abundance.
