Sowing and abundance
Sowing can produce abundance when we follow biblical principles. Studying the Bible gives you the chance to listen, learn, and, most importantly, live for God.
What does the Bible say about planting seeds? Whoever sows little will get little back, and whoever sows a lot will also get a lot back. You should give what your heart tells you to give, not because you have to or because you feel like you have to. And God can bless you in a big way so that you always have everything you need and do a lot of good work (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
Paul, the apostle, tells us how to give. This verse talks about sowing money, but it also talks about how we should feel when we sow. You can’t get to a place of plenty by buying things. You can get there by giving.
What does giving give us?
Giving needs two things from us: what we do and how we think about it. We learned from the passage that what we sow is what we get back. When we plant little, we get little back. When we give, we get back the same amount. This just means that whatever we do affects how things turn out. So, how I give will determine whether or not I have enough. It’s essential to act. This means that you can’t just say you’ll do something; you have to do it.
Being a good farmer
To get a good harvest as a farmer, you need more than good intentions. He has to plant very well to get a big crop. The quality of his harvest will depend on how generous he is when he plants seeds.
We should also follow this rule in our own lives, especially when we give. Even if we have good intentions and great ideas, we shouldn’t get stuck in wishful thinking. Do something. We also need to avoid having a minimalist mentality. Don’t be cheap; give a lot. Always do your best and share everything you have. Our actions must come from the heart and be done with total commitment. When you give, you must give everything you have: your life, your time, your energy, your skills, and your effort.
The way someone acts is another thing that is just as important. God loves people who give with joy. In the passage we just talked about, the apostle Paul says that people should give what they want to give and not because they have to. This is because actions without the right mindset can be meaningless.
If we give to God just because we have to, God doesn’t think much of it. Even if we give our time, talent, and money, that doesn’t mean we are sowing generously. How we feel about providing these three things is what makes the difference. We shouldn’t give because we don’t want to or have to. We should share with a happy heart. We must give with joy and a willingness to help.
Another thing that we talked about in this verse was the word “abundance.” It was what the verse was all about. Paul says that God will bless someone a lot if they do the right thing and do it with the right attitude. It says that in everything you do, you do well because you have everything you need. When we give a lot, we are serving God. When we do this, we are often out of our comfort zone, but we still feel safe, loved, and cared for by our loving Father. Giving is an invitation to experience God’s love in a new way.
