Spiritually Dressed for Success
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:28-30
Your wardrobe is your faith. What you wear literally demonstrates your faith. Because of that, you must mix your mind with the economical climate all around you. In a practical sense, that means that you must mix your mind with the garment district, you have to mix your mind with the diamond district, the gold district, and you have to mix your mind with the wig and artificial hair industry. You have to mix your mind with what is around you and create new realities for yourself. It is inherently sinful to come to planet earth cramped up and being confined to an overcrowded veracity. That is the reason why you broke out of your mother’s womb. Based on that same train of thought, you will never break out of your experience until you become larger than the experience you are presently in. Therefore take no thought saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or wherewithal shall we be clothed. For after all these things do the gentiles seek.
It’s quite interesting that the Gentiles seek all of these things such as food, drink, and clothing. Many churchgoers would readily agree that clothes and other material things should not be on the Christians list of things to acquire. They would also say that God is not concerned about money and material things. Before you and I take their word for it, let us consider what Jesus has to say about all of these seemingly worthless things, which the Gentiles seek. Jesus did not condemn any of these things that the Gentiles sought after. Rather he said:For your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all
these things.
All of these things which the Gentiles seek, your heavenly Father now says, you have need of them. That’s a powerful concept to grasp. If you have a desire in your heart, then it is quite possible that you have need of that desire, particularly when that desire is in alignment with God’s Word. If you have a taste for it, then it is on your menu. The major issue here is that all of these things that God knows you have need of, He does not want you seeking after first. God does not mind that you seek after those things or even have a desire for those things. However, God wants you to desire Him more than those things. And the only way that you can prove that to God, is by seeking Him first, discount and minimize things? He’ll start to convince you of what you don’t need, “Well, I don’t need that.” When you bite that Satanic bait, you are doing nothing more than adding more bars to your prison cell. You are learning to live and function within the realms of your limitations as most people do. Break out of limitations! When you read this scripture in context, it says: For after all these things do the gentiles seek, for your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things, but seek ye first the kingdom.
When the Kingdom of God is really inside of you and His righteousness, you will become a money magnet. You will attract great things to you. The only reason why valuable things are not attracted to you is because you have become de-magnetized, and literally rejected the Kingdom experience. The Holy Word is quite specific in telling all of us to seek the Kingdom of God. God did not tell you to seek heaven, yet that is seemingly what most people prefer to do.
