MONEY CAN BE AN IDOL OR A TOOL
Balance between spending and saving is important for money-vigilant people. When you become obsessed with the happiness of money, money slowly becomes your idol. You forget everything else revolving around while chasing the idea of freedom from earning more money. When push comes to shove, you get desperate and agree to do anything for the sake of making more. When you become a lover of money, you fail to see the value of morality in gaining wealth.
STRIKE A BALANCE BETWEEN SAVING AND SPENDING
Money-vigilant people thrive in a financially stable situation. Their immediate concern is how to save and remain financially stable. For this reason, their script keeps them from spending a lot. In extreme cases, they develop underspending habits, making them emotionally poor because they refuse to use and enjoy what they have. This begs the question, what is the use of having money if you cannot enjoy it? Smart spending is a way to keep money-vigilant people away from anxiety while enjoying their hard-earned money.
