Shift the Conversation
Change can be a good thing. When you know where your money scripts have developed from, you can now change the conversation. You can edit money scripts. They are not fixed in stone. As this year comes to a close, think about how you can establish a new language system around your relationship with money.
When you know your money mindset, you can tune your character. If you are weak around shopping malls, then you look for ways to overcome this weakness. But all this is possible once you have stood on the podium of self-acceptance. From this podium, your focus shifts to the process of change or improvement.
At times, we may not be worse off, but we remain stagnant. Here, you require a radical change of mentality. At times, this calls for decisions that are hard or hurtful. You may need to let go of some friends and end some relationships to thrive. However, as painful as change can be, it often contains the seeds of growth. Listen to the stories of great entrepreneurs; at one point in their lives, friendships broke, but in the long run, it was worth it. Many people carry the potential to succeed, but they are held back by the people surrounding them. Others have stuck to old ways of doing things, and without a shift in mindset, they cannot thrive. Can they?
