2 The LORD was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did, 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. 5 From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the LORD was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. (Genesis 39:2-5)

Dare to Prosper 

We all want to prosper; whether you have a mind of a farmer or a hunter, all you want is to grow. When you want to have your own business, you focus on profit. But the difference between a hunter and a farmer is their ways to gain profit. To prosper in your life, you need to have prosperous thinking through the following courses (Ponder, 1983). 

1. Create a vacuum in your life to receive. To prosper in your life is not just about material things, but also about your health. Let go of hurt and grudge from your past. Let go of unpleasant relationships. It would be best if you were healthy emotionally and mentally to be positive in your life. Eliminate negative emotions in your life. 
2. Be definite about prosperity. Write your desires in life. Do not settle for less in your life when you know that you can have much. A business expands through definite thinking. 
3. Picture your desires in life mentally. There is power in imagination. When you imagine the things you want to achieve, you get to be creative in ways to achieve your dreams. 
4. Speak daily affirmations. Practice speaking affirmations and positive things about yourself and what you are doing. Words are powerful. They will always have the power to encourage or discourage you. 
5. Declare prosperity. By declaring prosperity, you are claiming it for yourself. Be persistent. Positive thinking and communicating success in your life will push you to continue what you are doing to make things happen.
