KNOW YOUR WORTH

Child of God

Know your worth as a son or daughter of the King. Christians are children of God (Jn 1:12). Jesus taught his disciples that no father would give their child a stone if asked for bread. He taught the value of prayer—that if we ask, we shall receive; if we seek, we shall find; and if we knock, the door shall be opened (Mt. 7:7-12). Even if you are in a season where money is scarce, remind your heart not to be troubled because your father in heaven will supply your needs as you continue to seek Him diligently.

In that season, get to know God’s will for your life. While Satan afflicted Job to prove that he could desert God, Job remained faithful and kept his trust in God. As children of God, we are refined by fire to be like pure gold. We should be satisfied that God remains present and closer to us even in the worst of pits.

Are you striving to grow spiritually as you are trying to grow financially? How are you going about this?

What is your mental state during money scarcity? Are you positive and confident in God?

Think of God’s interventions in the past –write out instances where God has come through for you when you have lost hope? This will help your faith in God.

PRAYER

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the Spirit of boldness and sound mind that I have received from you. I won’t be afraid to make positive changes and venture into new terrain. I am confident that you will guide me in all my endeavors.
