MONEY WORRIES AND HEALTH

Today, money worries is the most significant source of stress among people. Some have sunk into depression because of debt and lack of money. Studies imply that people whose needs are unfulfilled will be dissatisfied. Mostly, this situation is due to lack of money or anything else. Within certain limits, it is also likely that most people are happier with money than without it.

Ironically, money vigilant people tend to develop health problems because of excessive wariness and anxiety concerning cash. Their energy and thoughts are always focused on their financial futures. This worry from within makes them develop a habit of excessive saving. While that worry may seem reasonable because it makes a person save rather than spend, it also has adverse effects. For instance, stress leads to health complications such as high blood pressure and mental health issues. Eventually, the money that the person strives to save may cater to their medical bills. Also, excessive vigilance brings unhappiness. A person may not be willing to spend on fun things such as vacations, holidays, and trips, even with family, because of the need to save.

In hindsight, do you think you have worried too much about money that you missed out on certain things that would have made you healthier and happier? What were they?

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. While Jesus was not speaking against wealth, he explained the worries and insecurities people carry concerning wealth. Stress and fear of lack highly affect money vigilant people. They can eventually develop serious money insecurity issues.
