THE APPARENT EXPRESSION OF BELIEF
When you assert something, it means that you are expressing your belief in the statement that you are letting out. While similar to assessment in this sense, the assertion that you hold can easily be proved or disproved and thus what you believe you have can immediately follow thereafter. As opposed to assessment where the variables are volatile and uncertain, what you believe while asserting will be realigned as the circumstances and information allow.
