THE RICH FARMER

THE RICH FARMER

Sow an act and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.

– Charles Reade

6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:6-10

Why is the Farmer Rich?

The rich farmer follows a model others can benefit from. All businesses want to gain profit and to be successful. If you have the values and principles of a farmer, then you are thinking of a long-term plan. You invest in cultivating and building relationships with customers. You know that you know that profit will follow when you invest in your customers and give them excellent service. Most businesses focus on gaining profit. They do not understand the premise of sustaining the company through farming. The fundamental law of prosperity has a lot to do with what farmers know.

Law of Compensation

According to Ponder (1962), you cannot get something for anything. Whatever you radiate outward in your thoughts, feelings, mental pictures, and words, you attract in your life and affairs. Farmers understand that you must sow a seed to have a harvest. They need to give the earth the seed to reap the fruit come harvest time.

We live in an abundant universe. However, there is still poverty in the universe because many people do not understand the fundamental law of life that you need to sow to reap. When people do not give or plant in terms of prosperity, they will not experience the abundance of God. There will be no channel formed to have access to unlimited quantity.

If the farmer keeps the seed in his pocket, it will remain a seed forever. He will not have access to the harvest and the unlimited provision it could provide. You need to understand the fundamental law of prosperity: sowing and reaping.
