WHAT SEASON ARE YOU IN?

What season are you in? You must know where you are to plan where you want to go. The different seasons of life are described in the Bible, particularly in the book of Ecclesiastes:

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4, NIV)

What is described here is a cycle of life. There is a time and place for everything. Now, ask yourself: Which season are you in? Look around you and evaluate your life. Are you happy where you are? Are you content with the salary you’re earning? What are you doing well? What are you not so good at?

If you are stuck with a job you hate, then maybe it’s time that you explore new employment opportunities. In this case, your current season is something you are ready to say goodbye to. You cannot expect to last long at a job you despise. You can find more incredible wealth in doing things that bring you fulfillment. When you are happy at your job, you are likely to do better at it as well.

Your current season is a sign of where you are headed. If you do not like the direction that the chain of events in your life leads you, then you need to do something about it. You are who you choose to be, so whatever season you are in, choose to make wise choices.
