BENEFITS OF UNDERSTANDING YOUR SEASON OF GROWTH

Your awareness and acknowledgment of your current season in the prophetic ministry is powerful. It allows you to know what is missing and how you can address it. There are advantages of being aware of which stage you are experiencing in your prophetic gift and ministry call.

The first advantage is that we make the most of our current season. When you know what season you are in, you don’t need to be impatient for the next one or reminiscent of the old ones. You can be present in your current season and you can maximize what it has to offer. For example, in the “desiring” stage, you can learn to overcome discouragement that a prophetic gift has not yet manifested and you can learn to seek God first before any gift. You can continue to respond to the hunger the Holy Spirit has placed in you.

See the bigger picture.

Another advantage of being aware of the season you are in is to recognize the bigger picture. You can appreciate God’s faithfulness when you look back at the journey that you have been on. When you see the bigger picture, you’ll remember that each season is temporary and that a new season is always ahead of you.
