The Priest’s Duty and the Kingdom of God

As a priest, you recognize your duty to prioritize the Kingdom of God. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus instructs us to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first, promising that all our needs will be provided. Understanding your position as a privileged citizen of God’s Kingdom is crucial. Before, you belonged to the Kingdom of Darkness, but God chose you to become a citizen of His Kingdom. By immersing yourself in God’s Word, you align with powerful truths that shape your identity and transform the condition of your heart, ultimately shaping your future.

Meditating on God’s Word and reaping the rewards

As you meditate on God’s Word, you tap into wisdom, grace, and abundance. It becomes a part of who you are. You invite His blessings and provision by making God’s Word a priority in your life. All the things you sacrifice on the altar for the sake of God’s Kingdom will be worth it. God promises to add them back to you a hundredfold.

Making God’s Kingdom a Priority

1. Seek God first: Make a conscious decision to prioritize God and His Kingdom above all else. Dedicate daily to seek Him through prayer, Bible study, and worship.
2. Immerse yourself in God’s Word: Set aside regular moments to meditate on Scripture. Reflect on its truths, apply them to your life, and allow them to shape your thoughts and actions.
3. Align your heart with God’s desires: Seek to understand God’s heart and desires for your life. Surrender your plans and ambitions to His will, trusting that His plans are more significant.
4. Sacrifice for the Kingdom: Recognize that true abundance comes from sacrificial living. Offer your time, talents, and resources to further God’s Kingdom. Trust that as you give, God will multiply and bless you abundantly.
5. Trust in God’s provision: Let go of worries about material needs and trust in God’s faithfulness. Believe that as you prioritize His Kingdom, He will provide for all your needs according to His riches and glory.

Remember, prioritizing God’s Kingdom is not about self-interest but about aligning your life with God’s purposes. As you do so, you will experience the abundant life Jesus promised, walking in His blessings and favor.
