One of the most powerful enemies of making a possibility a reality is the presence of fear. When there is fear, it blocks inspiration from growing and sparking in your life.

Fear prevents us from experiencing a breakthrough. If we take a look at the account when Jesus walked on water (Matthew 14:22-33), we see that this was meant to be a powerful enrollment process wherein the disciples would be inspired to step out in faith and walk on water, just like Jesus did. But there was fear in the hearts of the disciples. Fear prevented the disciples from being moved in such a way that they too can perform such a supernatural act.

²⁶ But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. ²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them and said, “Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.” (Matthew 14:26-27)
