Joseph prospered under God. He prospered in spite of the condition of slavery he was in.

When the Lord is with you, you will prosper. Man was born to be rich or grow rich by the use of his faculties, and by the unity of thought, God, and nature espoused by the transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson, who said, “A man in debt is so far a slave.”  God has provided for the minutest needs of our daily life. If we lack anything, it is because we have not used our minds to make the right kind of contact with the Super Mind, which is the God Mind. 

I have given you the ability to produce wealth, says the Lord in Deuteronomy 8:18. Does God need to make it any clearer? We already have what it takes to generate wealth. God gave us the ability. Man has always been designed to be prosperous, otherwise, why would God give you this ability. 

When there is lack, something is not working. You need to find the source of this lack. You need to find the lack of integrity in your life. Is it greed? Is it pride? There is no need to be greedy, because greediness comes from the mindset of lack. There is no need to be proud because we are not responsible for our wealth, God is. Find out what is causing lack in your life, and you will realize your natural ability to generate wealth.
