Protect the seeds you have planted. In your pursuit of wealth, not everything will go as planned. Not everyone will agree with what you’re attempting to accomplish. There will be opponents along the path but remember that they only have as much influence over you as you give them.

As a wealthy farmer, you work hard to produce an abundant crop – a good income using good ways. The seeds you plant today will grow into life-giving plants tomorrow. As a farmer, you must defend yourself against those who wish to harm your productivity.

Be prudent with your money and recognize your adversaries. In this chapter, we’ll discuss preventing financial pitfalls and other things that could destroy your business. We’ll talk about protecting yourself from wolves who want to rob you of the money you deserve.

The Right Way to Farm

You must live in God’s word in the same manner that healthy soil was a testimonial to God’s goodness. Christ is the proper method to farm your success. Build your success by soaking up the knowledge that God provides.

In her book, Dare to Prosper, Catherine Ponder says, “Invoke the law of increased success by affirming: “My success is enormous, powerful, and compelling.” Nothing succeeds more than success. In the name of Jesus Christ, I now go from success to success.”

But what exactly does it mean to live in Christ? It entails always doing the right thing and loving and appreciating every moment of your life. In business, you have to make difficult decisions, and often the morally correct options are the ones that will net you the least amount of money.
