The Choice You Have To Make

The Choice You Have To Make
I’m telling you to get into the River of Glory. It is your choice to make. God is never going to push you into it. When you go to the lake or to the beach, does the water come to you? The water stays where it is, even the waves on the beach have a limit as to what they can reach. You must decide to go and to get into the water. Decide to experience the glory of God.
Choices reveal your true character
Many Christians secretly hate the word “decision” or “choice.” They hide behind “God’s will.” They want God to just hand them their destinies on a silver platter, without ever making a decision. They’re either too lazy or too scared to make a decision. The truth is God wants you to make that choice. Choices reveal your true character. They reveal what’s inside your heart. Choices also reveal where you place your faith upon.
Step into the water
When deep inside you trust money and not the glory of God, then you will make choices out of lack or greediness. On the other hand, when you trust God when you long to experience His glory, you will go against the flow of the world. As a believer, be generous. You can bless people. God’s blessings give you the ability to tithe. You can trust God for bigger things. When you decide to go and get into God’s glory, you must step into the water.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. (Acts 4:33-35, emphasis added)
