STRIKE THE BALANCE

Strike the balance between spending and saving money. While money is scarce, do not forget to live a little. Ensure that your loved ones have memories together with you. Never let them remember you for denying them everything—from toys to books and even vacations. The lessons they learn from you will prove important in developing their money scripts as adults. If you keep complaining about money scarcity as a hindrance to them acquiring the best in life, then they too might develop that mindset and have some unwanted money scripts such as money worship. 

• What makes you happy when money is hard to come by? 
• What financial errors have you made in the past? What lessons did you learn from it? 
• What money mistakes do you keep making? How can you stop making this mistake? 
• Knowing that your money habits may be hurting your family ties, what is the next thing you can do? 
• Knowing that you have to build the habit of having a financial budget, what is one thing you are committing to do this week? 
• Knowing that there are always laws of wealth at play here, how does it change your perception of the future? 

PRAYER 

Dear Lord, 

Thank you for the gift of money. I receive direction on how to make money the right and easy way that won’t affect my relationships and health. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
